ABOUT KOBELCO

Started in 1905 as a manufacturer of steel castings and forgings, KOBELCO took a big step into the machinery business, manufacturing high pressure air compressors in 1914.

KOBELCO has a history of over 100 years of manufacturing different types of machinery, operating in many different industries.

KOBELCO entered the rubber mixer business in 1931 and has continued to make major developments in the field ever since. Our rubber mixer focuses on high productivity, ease of maintenance and a solid, tough design preferred by the tire and rubber goods industries.

KOBELCO Stewart Bolling, Inc. was incorporated in 1989 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Kobe Steel Ltd. and moved to its current location in Hudson, Ohio the following year.
